OPI spam–What’s With the Cat-itude, DS Signature and Stranger Tides

I have a bit of a built up of photos happening since I’ve been slack with blogging. I’m not sure of an exact number but it would be well over 100 polishes to blog about Confused smile Whoops!!!

So here are a few of my favourite OPIs.

The first is a fairly hard to find polish from the Shrek collection. It’s one of my favourites!

Catitude

What’s With the Cat-itude is a beautiful eggshell blue. Two coats, a creamy formula which was easy to apply. This colour really flattered my skin tone.

DSSignature

DS Signature is one of my favourites too. A beautiful medium pink linear holo. Two coats, such an easy formula for a holo. *Drools*. What’s not to like about this?!

StrangerTides

Stranger Tides from the Pirates of the Carribean collection is one of my favourite neutrals. This is a bit of a strange colour but it is just so flattering. It’s a green toned neutral.

I layered Peita’s Polish Sky’s The Limit over my ring fingers and thumbs. This Peita’s Polish is a custom made just for me which I got from Peita when she was my Secret Santa in the Aussie Nails Facebook group last year. I love this gorgeous mint green and white glitter combo.

Hope you enjoyed!

OPI DS Extravagance

Hello there!

Wow, it feels like a long time since I blogged! I’ve been painting my nails a lot lately but I just haven’t really been inspired to blog. Not sure why, I just haven’t ‘felt’ it!

Anywhoo, let’s start this off with a beautiful OPI DS polish I picked up on Catch of the Day, an Aussie deals website, a few months ago.

This is DS Extravagance:

DSExtravagance2ct

Two coats. Beautiful! This had a great formula and awesome staying power. I just love these polishes. I’m not quite sure what to call this finish though? It’s kind of glitter but not … the only appropriate term I feel that I can use is ‘diamond dust’, which is how OPI market these polishes (as containing diamond dust).

I still have a few DS’ left to try, but as I’ve said before I tend to keep them for occasions when I’m feeling down and need a little cheering up. Hey, everyone has their ways of cheering themselves up, right!?

OPI DS Magic

I’ve been using my OPI DS polishes sparingly lately. I like to bring them out on a special occasion, like when I’m feeling a little blue and need cheering up.

This stunner is enough to brighten up anyone’s day!

This is OPI DS Magic:

DSMAgic

Oh, and it truly is magic. A beautiful glittery, shimmery blue/purple duochrome. I found it really hard to get the purple to pop in the photo but you can see it a little in the bottle. It is a real stunner. It’s very bling bling without being over the top.

I think this is my favourite out of all the DS’ I have Open-mouthed smile Which is your favourite?

Mimco–Russian Red with OPI DS Bold accent nails

My friend Kate came over the other day to meet my new kitten Max, and she mentioned that she was looking for the perfect red polish.

I had just the thing for her! So we sat down and I gave her a mani:

RussianRedDSBold

Mimco Russian Red, two coats, and OPI DS Bold as accent nails on the thumb and ring fingers, also two coats.

Russian Red is THE perfect red. You will never find another red as nice as this one. I know that’s a huge, sweeping statement but it’s true!

Unfortunately Mimco only sell this in a duo pack with another colour, “Nude”, but you’re lucky because that is a gorgeous colour too!

Kate loved her nails and, two days later, reports no chips in Russian Red and just one in DS Bold Open-mouthed smile

OPI DS Classic

These OPI DS’ are gooorgeous. There’s just something about them which really does scream quality. I love normal OPI polishes too but these just seem worth the extra money.

Here is OPI DS Classic:

DSClassic

Pretty holo goodness! This is such a lovely, classy colour. I got so many “WOW, look at your nail polish!” comments when I wore it outside.

This is two coats, fantastic formula and awesome durability. You don’t see many scattered holos in this colour … in fact, I don’t think I’ve seen any others.

I’ve still got quite a few DS’ to get through. The hardest part is which to chose next!?

OPI DS Temptation

Wow, this is one seriously bling-y polish.

I’m not sure what else to say, so I’ll let the picture do the talking:

DSTemptation2ct

This is OPI DS Temptation. Gorgeous purple glitter polish with blue and silver glitter.

Insanely crappy formula due to the insane amount of glitter, but totally worth it. This was so shiny and sparkly, I had loads of compliments. My clean up was less than average because of the stubborn glitter which stuck to my fingers, but it still looks awesome Open-mouthed smile

Do you like the bling?
