L’Oreal Rue de Montmartre with Nailz Craze stamping

This is one of the manis I’ve done lately that’s gotten the most compliments. I’m pretty chuffed with it myself!

I started with a base of L’Oreal Rue de Montmartre:

RuedeMontmartre

Two coats. Delicious! This is a lovely deep blue creme. As usual, L’Oreal’s brush made application easy and awesome.

RuedeMontmartrestamp

Stamping with Nailz Craze plates. Isn’t this just adorable!? Winter sweater nails Open-mouthed smile Granted, I did these when it was over 40 degrees here but I think I was just channelling colder weather. Our air conditioning has been broken for six weeks now and I’m a little over it.

Do you like the winter sweater nails?

L’Oreal–Divine Indigo

Another L’Oreal for you lovely people today. Is it terrible that I can’t actually remember when I wore this polish? It was a fair while ago because I’m so behind on my blogging.

Anywhoo, this is Divine Indigo:

Two coats. What a stunning colour! It had the awesome formula I’ve come to expect from L’Oreal and I only did a second coat because I feel weird doing only one coat. It was really not needed!

Hurry up and bring out more colours, L’Oreal! I’m waiting with an open wallet Open-mouthed smile

L’Oreal–Blue Reef and French Riviera

I’m going to bring out another one of my favourite sayings: shock horror, it’s another L’Oreal Winking smile (that one was for you, Liesl!) In fact, it’s two L’Oreals!

I was so, so excited to find the new L’Oreals at my local pharmacy because let’s face it, here in the desert we miss out on most things beauty related. The only places to get make up is the pharmacy and Woolworths (grocery store for any non-Aussies). So when I spied these babies I was beside myself.

I decided to try two polishes in one hit seeing as I couldn’t decide between two! Luckily the two polishes went well together so I did an accent nail.

Here is Blue Reef and French Riviera:

BlueReef_dk_FrenchRiviera

The, er, dark green polish on the accent nail is Blue Reef. Don’t ask me why they decided to call it Blue Reef because it is most definitely a dark, dusty green. The mint green is French Riviera.

I used two coats of Blue Reef and three of French Riviera. The formula on French Riviera was a bit of an a-hole. It was fairly streaky and gloopy but it managed to even itself out in two coats.

Watcha think?

L’Oreal–Magic Croisette

Hullo hullo!

Another one of the new L’Oreals. You guys must think I’m obsessed! If you’re wondering why then just take a look at this polish:

MagicCroisette2ct

Magic Croisette. Droooool. Two coats of loveliness. Honestly, isn’t this the most perfect blue you’ve ever seen? Just look at that gorgeous shimmer. I’m in looooove!

The formula on this was fantastic and as per usual, the brush did an amazing job on my nails. Minimal clean up Open-mouthed smile

Are you loving this as much as I am?

L’Oreal-Mysterious Icon

It’s another Loreal! Shock horror Smile with tongue out When I first got these I spent about a week trying the different ones just because of how beautiful the colours were.

This is a rather popular shade amongst the Aussies on Facebook, Mysterious Icon:

MysteriousIcon2ct

How friggin beautiful is that?! It’s a gorgeous mocha colour with a gold shimmer. It looks so different to how it does in the bottle but I love it to pieces. I actually stamped little paw prints all over this but for some silly reason didn’t take a photo of it?!

Anywhoo, this is two coats using L’Oreals fabulous new brush. I can’t rave enough about it! It is so nice to have a polish which accommodates for wider nails. <3

Do you have Mysterious Icon? What do you think? And what do you think the name is all about?!

L’Oreal-Luxembourg Garden

When the new L’Oreals came out, I spotted this one and really loved the look of it.

This is L’Oreal Luxembourg Garden:

LuxembourgGarden2ct

One coat. I really was looking forward to trying this polish but when I did, I just thought “blah”… Nothing spectacular Sad smile

The only good thing about this polish was the brush. Such a shame!

Have you had any disappointing polishes lately?

L’oreal–Mystic Blue

I’m  a little late posting this because I wore this polish maybe two months ago? The new L’oreal polishes which were released a few months ago are to die for. Our pharmacy here did get them but I was impatient and enlisted a couple of South Aussie blogging buddies, Kelly and Kristy to post me some of the new polishes.

I was so glad I did because the colours are just stunning. This is one of the first ones I was sent:

MysticBlue2ct

Two coats of Mystic Blue. Gorgeous shimmery, sparkly deep midnight blue. Wonderful formula helped out even more by the amazing new L’oreal brushes. Their new brushes are wide and designed to paint the colour on the nail in one stroke. I would have to say it’s pretty effective. I have wide nails and the brush was brilliant and easy to use.

I’m in lurv Open-mouthed smile And I have plenty more to blog about to stay tuned!
