Introducing one of my new favourite polishes.

And of course, it’s holo.

Aaarghh! So much beautiful holo. This is a lovely pale blue colour and the holo is off the charts. It’s definitely the most holo polish I own.

I used the FNUG Aqua Base and that really help in application. It was still a tiny bit patchy but not too bad. I didn’t use top coat which means it didn’t last very long until it was chipped but the top coat definitely dulled the holo effect

 

I just love looking at photos of this polish. It is such a stunner.

Chanel Blue Boy

This is one of my favouritest (yes, great English but I’m excited!!) polishes EVER. My lovely partner was good enough to get me my most lustest after polish collection for Christmas: the Chanel Les Jeans Collection.

I was just so excited to wear them and I knew just which one I’d wear first.


Blue Boy. A perfect dusty denim blue. This is two coats and I just love it. I wore this to Adelaide and it lasted with only minor tip wear for over five days. Kudos, Chanel.

I did some funky nail stamping to complete the look:

OPI–It’s My Year

I’ve been a bad blogger again! Sometimes life just gets in the way and polish falls down the list of priorities. Gasp, I know! It’s hard to believe I used to have to paint my nails every night or at LEAST every second night and now I’m lucky if I get a chance to do it three times a week. My evenings, which used to be my polish time, have been filled with massages lately.

 

Anyway, this is the polish I wore on my birthday this year:

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. A new favourite. This is just BEAUTIFUL. I could not stop gawking at my nails. Perfection in a bottle

This was two coats of OPI It’s My Year. I’ve been eyeing this off for a long time and finally borrowed it off my good friend Kate. I am definitely going to have to buy this one. How can you resist this?

Gorgeous formula, pretty decent wear time too! Winner all round

Zoya - Ivanka

Happy Birthday to me And what better way to celebrate than to show you all my new favourite polish.

 

Behold, Zoya Ivanka!

Gahhhh. It’s just so beautiful! Ivanka is a gorgeous, glowy, sparkly green foil. It is stunning, it is amazing, it is my new favourite.

This was two coats. I wish I could say it wore well but wow, this chipped and peeled most of one finger off in less than two hours from when I painted it. I touched it up twice in the space of two days. Really disappointing, but so worth it.

Ivanka is from the Sparkle collection and I got her in a blog sale a little while back. I also got Mimi, a gorgeous purple from the same collection. There are still a couple I want to get, including Charla. I would have to say this is possibly the only polish I’ve ever owned that I’ve considered getting a back up of.

essie–Foot Loose

This is the perfect pink. And that’s a big call because there are a LOT of pink polishes out there!

This polish was a dream to apply and was opaque in ONE coat. You heard me, ONE!!!

What is it?

essie Foot Loose. ONE COAT. ONE COAT!! I can’t get over it! I have a similar colour polish which needs three! I just cannot fault this polish. It’s a beautiful deep pink and I just love it! It’s enough to get me to get rid of all my similar coloured polishes. And that is a huge deal!

 

I’ve been digging the nail stamping lately because I went without for so long, so I brought out my favourite Red Angel plates and stamped away:

Awww, precious! Without even realising it, I did Valentines Day nails! Haha I must have subconsciously been thinking about it!

BYS Rebel Red with Konad stamping

This has to be my favourite mani ever.

I had so much fun doing it and I think it’s my best attempt at Konad to date!

Here is BYS Rebel Red. I did two coats. It is an absolutely beautiful formula and amazingly gorgeous red and I think it should be a staple in everyone’s polish collection!!!

 

Then I stamped some gorgeous Konad flowers and added clear Konad rhinestones to the middle of a couple of flowers on my thumb and ring fingers.

So, so, SO beautiful. I had so many comments on this mani. I wore it for four days because I loved it so much. It actually looked way better in real life; I’m a bit disappointed with the photo!

Just don’t mind my dry cuticles. They’re a little angry at the moment! Can anyone recommend a good cuticle balm/oil??

BYS Fern

I’ve been looking for the perfect green polish, and I think I may have found it.

I give you, BYS Fern.

Look at the pretty silver shimmer through it! The shimmer is a bit lost in the shade but it’s still a gorgeous shade of green which seems to suit me really well. I kind of don’t want to take it off my nails!! I can tell it’s going to be a bitch to remove, because it even stained my fingers while I was doing clean up!!!

I’ve been wearing it for two days now, coming on for three, and it’s worn really well. Only minimal tip wear which I’m pretty sure is my Orly Sec n’ Dry ‘shrinking’ it a bit. I’m almost at the bottom of my bottle of it and waiting for my Seche Restore to arrive in the post so I can thin it. I’ve also ordered Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat and Ridge Filling Base Coat. I can’t wait to try them. Everyone raves about SV!

In the next few days I’m going to place an order for some China Glazes and Colour Clubs … now that I have a job I was offered the job I interview for on Thursday a mere 3 and a half hours after I finished the interview, and I couldn’t be happier. What an excuse to splurge on some pretties!!! Once I start working I’m going to buy some Nfu Oh’s because the flakies look amazing.
