China Glaze–Custom Kicks with stamping

Hey everyone!

Sorry I’ve been AWOL again … I’ve been pretty busy with work, massaging and dealing with this little munchkin:

Maxi

This is Max, my new kitten. She is a beautiful Ragdoll kitty with a little Burmese in her too. She’s very cuddly and sweet but also a lot of work. I’m already totally in love with her!

Anywhoo, onto the nails! I apologise in advance for this photo because I accidentally wiped the good photos off my camera and I didn’t realise until I was just about to take my polish off … so you get a mani with tip wear and chips!! This was three days old so I really can’t complain!

CustomKick2ct

China Glaze Custom Kicks. Man, is this colour hard to photograph, but it’s a gorgeous bright aqua with a shimmer through it. This is two coats. This polish stains cuticles like a mofo, by the way!

I stamped over the top of it using Konad Special Polish in pastel purple and used a Red Angel plate. I really liked the look Open-mouthed smile

Custom Kicks is definitely a “me” colour. Colours like this just scream out at me.

What’s your go-to colour?

piCture pOlish–Malt-teaser with Red Angel stamping

I haven’t used a piCture pOlish for a while (and we all know how obsessed I am with them!) so I whipped one out today.

For some reason I was feelin’ a bit more of a classy but different colour.

Malt-teaser fit the bill perfectly:

Malt-teaser2ct

Oh yeah Open-mouthed smile This is a gorgeous shade of brown. Two coats and an amazing formula. Loved it! This is so work appropriate for pretty much any job (and if you have a job which wouldn’t allow a colour like this, I feel for you!!!!).

I couldn’t leave it alone, of course, so I did some stamping with my Red Angel image plates:

Cheeee-tah! This image is from image plate RA107. Love it Open-mouthed smile

Have you snagged the Red Angel plates yet?

essie–Foot Loose

This is the perfect pink. And that’s a big call because there are a LOT of pink polishes out there!

This polish was a dream to apply and was opaque in ONE coat. You heard me, ONE!!!

What is it?

See for yourself:

FootLoose1ct

essie Foot Loose. ONE COAT. ONE COAT!! I can’t get over it! I have a similar colour polish which needs three! I just cannot fault this polish. It’s a beautiful deep pink and I just love it! It’s enough to get me to get rid of all my similar coloured polishes. And that is a huge deal!

I’ve been digging the nail stamping lately because I went without for so long, so I brought out my favourite Red Angel plates and stamped away:

Awww, precious! Without even realising it, I did Valentines Day nails! Haha Smile with tongue out I must have subconsciously been thinking about it!

Are you wearing Valentines nails?

Ulta3–Tahitian Lime with stamping

I decided to go for a nice, bright colour last weekend. It was hot on the Friday and Saturday so I felt the need for my nails to reflect that!

Ulta3 have been releasing some amazing polishes lately. First, the Summer Siren collection and then the Gelato collection. I’ve been trying polishes from the Gelato collection lately but decided to go back to one of the polishes I hadn’t tried from the Summer Siren collection.

This is Tahitian Lime:

Wow, bright!!! But not in a bad way! This is a really funky green. Luckily it didn’t give me lobster hands but I think it would not be a colour that suits everyone. This is two coats and I wasn’t a fan of the formula. It was streaky and applied unevenly as you can see in the photo. Not even Seche Vite could save it!

I haven’t done any nail stamping in so long because we have been moving house and my stamping gear has been in boxes. I was dying to do some stamping so I whipped out my trusty Red Angel image plates.

Continuing with the summer theme, I stamped them like this:

TLKonad

This is such a funky design! I love this mani! I used the Konad special polish in white to stamp and the Red Angel plates. Can’t remember what plate number it is but if you ask I’ll check!

Have you been doing manis which reflect the weather lately?

BYS–Drop in the Ocean

Wow, BYS have really done it this time. This relatively newish polish is absolutely STUNNING.

Take a look:

DropintheOcean2ct

WOW. This photo does not do it justice even a little bit. This is a gorgeous medium teal colour but my camera refuses to pick up its true colour and Photoshop refuses to come to the party and let me adjust the colour accordingly (or I’m just not doing it properly Smile with tongue out).

The formula is amazing and it almost covered in one coat. I did two just to be safe. The wear was fabulous! I had a little bit of chipping on the third day but that’s because I was doing hot stone massages for half the day and kept dragging my nails along the stones (which I loathe. It’s like fingernails down a blackboard to me).

I did some pretty nail stamping with my trusty Red Angel image plates:

DropintheOcean2ctKonad

I used Konad Special Polish in Pastel Blue. I really love these Red Angel plates. They have amazing images and they are fantastic quality for such a low price. I think you can only get them on Amazon!

What do you think? Do you love this colour as much as I do?
