Ulta3–Tahitian Lime with stamping

I decided to go for a nice, bright colour last weekend. It was hot on the Friday and Saturday so I felt the need for my nails to reflect that!

 

Ulta3 have been releasing some amazing polishes lately. First, the Summer Siren collection and then the Gelato collection. I’ve been trying polishes from the Gelato collection lately but decided to go back to one of the polishes I hadn’t tried from the Summer Siren collection.

 

This is Tahitian Lime:

Wow, bright!!! But not in a bad way! This is a really funky green. Luckily it didn’t give me lobster hands but I think it would not be a colour that suits everyone. This is two coats and I wasn’t a fan of the formula. It was streaky and applied unevenly as you can see in the photo. Not even Seche Vite could save it!

 

I haven’t done any nail stamping in so long because we have been moving house and my stamping gear has been in boxes. I was dying to do some stamping so I whipped out my trusty Red Angel image plates.

Continuing with the summer theme, I stamped them like this:

This is such a funky design! I love this mani! I used the Konad special polish in white to stamp and the Red Angel plates. Can’t remember what plate number it is but if you ask I’ll check!

Bloom–Copenhagen

I had a job interview last week so I needed an interview appropriate polish colour. I wasn’t sure whether to go for a neutral beige or tan or a light pink. I ended up going with the light pink and I hated it!!!

 

This is B by Bloom Copenhagen

Two coats. The formula wasn’t too bad, a little streaky but nothing major and nothing a coat of Seche Vite couldn’t sort out.

Now, this polish was a very pale pink with microglitter through it. It looked great in the bottle but it gave me major lobster hands and the colour just didn’t suit me. I was so disappointed I think this colour would look great on someone with more of an olive skintone.

Revlon–Perplex

This is one of those colours which looks good in the polish but amazing on the nail. Revlon have really lifted their game lately and this is a particularly impressive polish:

Two coats of Revlon Perplex. I didn’t really need the second coat but you know me, I do it anyway! Beautiful formula.

Can you see the gorgeous purple shimmer through it? I’m not really sure how to describe the colour of Perplex … it’s like a grey-purple. A grurple?

piCture pOlish–Fairy Floss

I seriously love this colour combo:

piCture pOlish Fairy Floss with Violet Femme dotted on top. It was so cute and girly but funky at the same time!
I used two coats of Fairy Floss and it went on beautifully. I must get some more piCture pOlishes

SpaRitual–Greenhouse

Ahhh it feels good to be back blogging again. I’ve missed it! Moving was hell and I’m now seriously sunburnt from it. Ouch

Anyway, here is a gorgeous polish I wore before the move:

This is SpaRitual Greenhouse from their Earth Day duo pack of polishes. This is such a gorgeous polish. It’s a unique shade of green and it’s a foil! Love it!
This is two coats. Brilliant application, hardly any clean up to do because of that.

 

I felt like this colour really flattered my skin tone. I was a bit worried it would give me lobster hands but it did the exact opposite. Love!

 

Were you lucky enough to score these polishes while they were available? I know quite a few people who wanted it but missed out

Moving time!
